Description
Dry conditions during winter and spring were followed by warm weather in December. Careful irrigation management guided our vineyards through the growing season. In March, the temperature changed and proved remarkably mild with cool nights contributing to wonderful freshness and balance in the Merlot grapes.Magenta in colour with purple hues. Dominant aromas of boysenberry and blackberry are complemented by a hint of spearmint and clove. The palate is generous, round and succulent. A fruit pastille mid-palate is balanced by soft tannins with a touch of acidity creating a refreshing, persistent finish.
